Meryl tribute to feature Lemony Snicket-clips
18 Jun 2004

By TNPihl (JCO Editor-In-Chief)

A testimonial presented by the American Film Institute to actress Meryl Streep, including reminiscences by her friends, coworkers and co-stars took place on June 10, 2004 in the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

According to Meryl Streep Online Jim Carrey was the first of Meryl's co-stars who gave a speech (touching and hilariously funny) about how he sort of 'taught Meryl the ropes' while working on "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events". And at the end he said something so beautiful which, maybe will be included in the program airing on USA Network on Monday, June 21, 2004, at 9:00 p.m (ET/PT).

The AFI tribute will also feature never-before-seen clips of Meryl Streep in the movie "Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events".
